To start the new year in good vibes, we settled another time in Carribean restaurant and coctkail bar The Rum Kitchen. Located in Ladbroke Grove, this venue not only offers delicious food but also an impressive collection of Rhums, in a very intimist and relaxed atmosphere. The colourful walls and the Rhum barrels take you on a journey to the sun for a fun night out.
We invaded their basement for a second show. All around the room, you could admired paintings from Lee Anderson, Bec Corn, Bernadett Berki, Nathan Wozniak, Andronic Alina and Denise Mangaram mixing abstract, figurative, allegoric and imaginative work. Nathan Giles and Le Ngo presented some photography work. Ilario Brandano exhibited his collage pieces and Che Kumar his illustrative representation of London.
Talented artists Lee, Ilario and Denise gave us three fantastic live art performances, creating a very inspiring and captivating moment.
DJ Safir animated the night behind the decks mixing the best of Contemporary HipHop, Golden Era HipHop, Old School HipHop and French HipHop.
He was followed by the very moving Eve Conway. She sang beautifully a mix of acoustic classics and her own material and conquered the audience with ease.
HipHop duo The Thirds took the stage next for an amazing rapping set, bringing beatbox and acapella songs as well as some of their best tracks.
DJ Bones closed the night mixing the greatest of UK HipHop.
We had another captivating night thanks to you all!
